They say life slows down at 59. I say that’s when the fire starts.
I traded in scrubs for strategy, shift work for CEO vision. It wasn’t easy—imposter syndrome, doubt, and the whispers of “too late” tried to stop me. But I chose a new title for myself: Boss Lady of my own life and business.
I didn’t get here by accident. It took some doors closing!!!!
Just when you are cruising along, life as normal and, then I thought I needed that.
At first, I felt shaken. But instead of shame, I felt relief. Almost like God Himself whispered, “Daughter, I’m moving you out so I can move you up.”

So here I am, 59 years old—an entrepreneur, a servant leader, and a woman no longer hiding behind guilt. This is my story.
When Life Redirects You, God Promotes You
I used to think losing a job was the ultimate failure. But now? I see it as divine redirection.
Those closed doors weren’t punishment. They were protection.
God answered a prayer I didn’t even know how to pray. He removed me from spaces that weren’t meant to hold my gift.
I had to learn endings don’t make you unworthy, not at all they make you available.
Available to dream again.
Available to pivot.
Available to step into the calling I had been running from.
Grace has already covered what guilt tried to steal. I have nothing to be ashamed
of.
The Limiting Belief That Tries to Keep Us Small
👉 Let me ask you something: What limiting belief about age is keeping you small?
Because here’s what I know: Age is not a cage. It’s a stage, let me repeat that......AGE IS NOT A CAGE. IT'S A STAGE.
Society tries to tell us that at 59, you should be slowing down, shrinking back, playing it safe. But I refuse to be boxed in by a number.
I’m proof that you can start over. That you can pivot. That you can write a brand-new chapter even when others say the book is closed.
If you’ve got breath in your body, you’ve still got purpose in your life.
The Whisper That Wouldn’t Go Away
Even when I was clocking in for someone else, there was a whisper in my soul:
“You’re meant for more.” That whisper didn’t leave me; I was already quietly preparing myself for the Unkown journey but too afraid to take the leap!! We all have been there, maybe you’ve felt it too! That dream that won’t stop nudging you, no matter how many candles are on your birthday cake.
👉 What dream is still whispering to you, no matter how many birthdays you’ve celebrated?
For me, it was to build something of my own. To create. To coach. To serve. To speak life into others.
And once I finally stopped silencing that whisper and started following it—everything changed.
Pivoting Without Permission
We live in a world that tells us we need validation before we can pivot. But hear me clearly:
You don’t need permission to change direction.
You don’t need approval to start over.
You don’t need applause to chase the dream.
When I pivoted into entrepreneurship, I didn’t know if I’d succeed. I was scared. I felt exposed. But freedom tastes better than fear.
And the best part? I wasn’t doing it alone. God’s grace was—and still is—leading
the way.
The Power of a New Title
Titles matter. For years, my identity was tied to job titles. When those jobs ended, I gave myself a new title: CEO. Boss Lady. Visionary. Servant Leader.
That’s the beauty of reinvention—you get to decide who you’ll be in this next chapter.
The best version of me is still evolving! Thank God for Elevation and being released from a prison I didn't know I was in!
👉 What title will you give yourself in this next chapter?
Maybe it’s Author. Speaker. Coach. Healer. Mentor. Entrepreneur.
I haven't decided, so just watch and see, the skies the limit for me, if not me then who? Whatever it is, I am going to claim it. Own it. !!!! Walk in it.!!!!!
With Faith and Conviction! My Faith is bigger than my worries! God Got Me!
Praise the Lord Hallelujah!
Serving, Not Just Selling
What keeps me going now isn’t just ambition. It’s service. I’m a servant at heart. That’s my calling.
When I coach, when I share, when I speak—it’s not about me. It’s about pouring into others what God so freely poured into me.
This isn’t about chasing money. It’s about chasing meaning. And in that space, I know people will be drawn—not to me—but to the light of God shining through me.
Lessons I’ve Learned on the Journey
Here are a few truths I’ve picked up along the way:
Failure isn’t final. Sometimes it’s the foundation of your next success.
You’re never too old. Purpose doesn’t retire.
God’s timing is perfect. Closed doors can be holy protection.
Shame has no seat at the table. Grace already paid for it.
The best is not behind you. The best is always ahead.
Final Thoughts: Becoming Who You Were Always Meant to Be
At 59, I didn’t just become a CEO—I became me. Not because I had it all figured out. Not because I had all the answers. But because I trusted God, pivoted without shame, and walked boldly into a new chapter.
👉 So let me ask you:
What limiting belief about age is keeping you small?
What dream is still whispering to you, no matter how many birthdays you’ve celebrated?
What title will you give yourself in this next chapter?
Here’s my truth: It’s never too late. Not to dream. Not to pivot. Not to rise.
They say life slows down at 59. But me? I’m just getting started.!!
